Active Rest is Recommended a coaching point from Coach Bill Leach
Reduced training for 3-4 weeks is a valuable change following the completion of a full or half marathon. There will be great long term benefit if you take this time to:
Accept the urge to resist training if it doesnt seem to be fun
After a period of reduced training, resume structured training at a low level. This will ensure that you are rested, refreshed, and ready to meet the challenges and demands of the next training cycle! |

I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature.
