Coaching tip from Coach Bill Leach – “Hill Running”

 

Planning any Hill Running soon?  If so, ‘da coach suggests:

 

  • Relax your up-hillsdo not waste valuable energy on the uphill portion of any workout or race!
  • Race your down-hills – past your competition on the downhill portion of your training or racing runs!
  • Run tall with your head, chest and hips in an up-front and TALL position DONOT drop your head or shoulders!
  • Enjoy your opportunity to run over hills!
