Coaching Tip - Winter footing
When footing is slippery or uncertain, remain very upright and take shorter strides, making certain that your foot strike point is beneath the front of your hips.
Nutrition Tip - Winter Hydration
Water needs remain contant or increase during cold or cool running conditions. The body requires water as energy is metabolized to run and to maintain a healthful core body temperature. Plan your hydration strategies for each training run.
